System Of A Down (1998)
A major annoyance when they don’t have the music to backup their poor vocals and spotty songwriting. They admittedly do show at least the ability to hit the musical jugular on occasion. Just need a little consistency, boys.

Toxicity (2001)
Here we go…following up their self titled debut, they produce a decent album that’s mostly hard and fast but which has its “soft” moments. Those moments I generally like, and a couple of the hard and fast ones are at least a small pleasure to listen to.
